1, 2, 3...I've Got Numbers on My Mind

A couple of weeks ago I realized that I had an interesting dilemma. I have really enjoyed picking out stones for our front steps, a new mailbox, and a new front door (okay...my husband and mother-in-law picked out the front door.) Everything was looking perfect! Next Step: Picking out the perfect house numbers. I was planning on getting black vinyl numbers for the front door. Like this: 

Perfect, right? Wrong! I managed to overlook an important detail. Our front door is actually on the side of our house (that means that my house numbers can't go on my door.) The house numbers have to face the street...BUMMER! 

So...I had to get creative! I did some searching for inspiration (aka. Pinning), but there is not an obvious place to put the numbers on the front of our house. Then I found a simple solution...Pottery Barn! Why didn't I think about that earlier? They had the perfect numbers! 

Currently there are some changes being made to the front of our house. We are updating our front porch, and making it more of an interior space (more on that to come!) Anyway...we still have to get some siding up. Once that is done the numbers are going to be put up (imagine that being said in a very excited voice!)

The numbers are going to line up with the bottom of the window. Still excited!!! I will update you when it is all finished!
